Employee Goals

The Employee Goals Tab gives you the capabilities to specify the type of Employee Goals an Employee can create on their Appraisal. Your selections here will determine how these Goals will display on the Appraisal, and establish whether or not they have an impact on the overall Scoring Criteria.

  1. Employee Goals Tab

    1. Usage Mode

      1. None
        Means you will not be able to attach Goals to an Appraisal.
        Note: This keeps the Goals completely separate from the Appraisal process.

      2. Text Only Goals
        This allows you to add and see future Goals but the Goals cannot be edited within the Appraisal section.

      3. Rateable Goals
        Allows you to add Goals to the Appraisal so that they can be scored and become a part of the overall score of the Appraisal.

        1. Enable Goal Weight Editing

        2. Default Rating Definition
          Allows you to add a Default Scoring Definition for the Goals that may differ from what is being used in the Criteria Section.

        3. Use Section Header
          Allows you to add a Section Header so it differentiates between the Criteria Items/Competencies when you attach the Goals.

        4. Add Goals to Top Of Performance Factors
          Means you will see the Goals first before the Criteria or any other section.

        5. Goal Weighting Style
          Allows you to put Weights on the Goals.

          2. Individual Default Weight

          3. Section Total Weight

        6. Goal Weight
          If you have decided to give the Goal a Weight this will allow you to assign them a Weight here.

      Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on 'Save'.
